I truly believe daily dog walks are one of the reasons my best friend lived a long healthy life. A whole lotta love too!! ????????????????????????
I’m going through my old blogs because back in 2012 I didn’t know what the heck I was doing…. Actually, do I even know now? Probably not when it comes to blogging and the “interweb” Haha!???????? I do know dogs though! I have been in this industry for 12 years now. Wow, that far out…. #realitycheck
Opening this blog post from 2012 and seeing my beloved Great Dane, Kya warms my heart. I loved that sweet girl dearly – she’s still my best friend even though she’s not with me anymore. Many are surprised that she lived to 15 years old. That’s a long time for such a big dog. I attribute it to a lot of love and our daily dog walks.

Today was an absolutely beautiful day! I visited several vet clinics around town and stopped by The Monarch. The Monarch is an amazing building downtown with a wonderful staff & location. Then Kya, Big, and I took a long walk around The Hills. I love all the hills in Austin – definitely good for the gluts if you know what I mean.
All the vet clinics were very friendly, but as you know it’s not always your favorite place to go – nor is it Fidos. Keeping your dog healthy with daily exercise will help avoid these visits. Check out our Health page to see the many additional benefits.
Happy Dog Walks!
