Our pets are a part of our family – they make our lives complete. They also make your wedding complete, tying the knot and tying the day into one perfect package. I would be THRILLED to be the wedding day pet attendant for your fur baby!! I had my dogs at my wedding and just LOVED it! ☺ That’s why I offer this Wedding Day Dog Attendant service – having your fur baby there just makes the special day complete.
How it Works
Before the big day, I would like to walk your fur baby at least once. The purpose of this is to build a relationship with them and learn their personality and traits.
I customize this package with several variables in mind. What is the age, breed, and comfort level of your pet. Your dog will absolutely feel the excited energy in the air. It is important to set them up for success so all runs smoothly and we capture that perfect picture for your forever memories. Again, I will make personal recommendations, but on average, I will arrive 1 hour before their presence is needed. I take your dog on a 30-minute walk to give them the option to go pee/poo and to burn off some energy so they are calmer for pictures. Then I get them prepped with any wedding attire provided by you, and we proceed to first look photos or the ceremony.
For the ceremony, most times I take two steps with the dog and they continue down the aisle on their own towards you. This is the “AW” moment that makes my heart flutter. When it’s time for pictures I will be prepared with my wheelhouse of attention-getting tricks and toys. Sometimes the dog stays for the duration of the reception/most times not. Honestly, most pups are pretty wiped after the ceremony/pictures and are ready to go take a nap. It’s 100% what you want and what’s in the best interest of the dog.
